This is a beautiful blue and white Irish County shirt from the SSE Sports Shop. This lovely shirt will be ideal for any promotion or corporate event. You may have seen us in recent promotions for Bulldog F1, Pick Up Football Camps etc… The Womens Pig is a fabric from the Irish Border, originally made for fighting in the Cavan-Monaghan War of 1312. The design features an image of Kevin Beattie, who was captain of the St Patrick’s Day Horse Troops which fought in this conflict.

The shirt is pretty, but the color is somewhat muted. I find it very difficult to find pink shirts with a blue undertone. I attach an 80% cotton/20% polyester blend to the shirt to give it the blue look and it is still quite bulky. The shirt is a bit tight. This is a very loose fit. The shirt runs a bit large. I wish they would make the shirt in a bigger size.

I ordered this because of the color. I was pretty sure I wouldn’t like the white, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I got it and decided to give it a try. The shirt is soft and the print is beautiful. I am happy to say that I don’t mind the white color, it is a bright pink that looks stunning against the white shirt.

I ordered this shirt over the weekend and it arrived today. I had been looking for a classic tee to wear with my new country cat and I really like the design coz it is a classic tee and fits great but the color is not as pink as I thought it would be. I’d say it’s a great shirt, the material is pretty easy to wash and don’t always need to be ironed, it’s not heavy.
